When I installed Wordpress 1.5 through Debian, it installed appropriate packages… but the php-to-mysql setup didn’t go smoothly. This command (and following the prompts thereafter) let me reconnect php and mysql, and my pages then were generated correctly since it could see the database.

I have a wp blank pages issue and stumbled upon you page. But is is not clear to me.
